Op 16 en 17 februari 2012 bezoeken we op uitnodiging van DB Netz en Siemens de Rurtalbahn in Düren en het testcentrum Wegberg-Wildenrath, een testfaciliteit voor spoorwegmaterieel in Wegberg in de Duitse deelstaat Noordrijn-Westfalen. Het testcentrum werd in 1997 door Siemens Transportation Systems in gebruik genomen.
